To prevent unnecessary questions YES my car is here and already registered.
I picked it up on Friday but had to work so couldn't make the cruise.

Anyways I'm after anyones opinion.
I have boost from approx 2200rpm and up to approx 3800rpm and then nothing but overfueling.
Apparantly at 3800rpm the second turbo is supposed to come on boost and this is controlled by a vacuum actuator.
I am hoping the actuator is my problem any ideas??? ;)

So you're still having problems with it? :( Have you managed to talk to any "shops" yet?

Probably your best bet would be Fours N More, alternatively, maybe give Reaper a PM as he's probably more knowledgable than most (on here) due to a certain little conversion he's personally performed ;)

BTW, how did the clean up go?

My little bro told me all about it

OK, here's some DIY type info you might find usefull...

From what I remember when we checkd over your engine, everything was quite dry and hard so the following may apply

Quote

Check your VSV hoses. One of them probably popped off or is loose. If the hoses get too hard then they may leak. Check the VSV by the front turbo, right above the alternator first.

Also

Quote

has to be a boost leak. VSV or bleeder mode will get you at least 15psi after 2nd gear. mix soupy water in a spray bottle and spay on vacuum hoses, then rev the engine. if you see bubbles oforming around the hose, its leaking air.

I'll keep looking and add more info as I find it

I have a 1995 supra twin turbo,I have a problem with the turbos, because on the twin turbo system the first turbo start to charge and when the motor is about 4000 rmp the second turbo start to charge. but in my car, the second turbo is not charging I dont know why,I allready check that the car dont have any air leak.

What could be the problem?

the second turbo isnt spooling even at hi rpms.

after 4000 rpm the car only have 3-5 psi.

Go TTC and see if that solves the problem.

I have seen many times where the actual rod going to the EGCV valve has phsycially broken off the ceramic flapper valve. This will cause the #2 turbo to never spool up.

Here's a link to the TTC mod

It's quite easy to do and reversable. Should only take you 15-20 minutes max.

I know your car is completely stock and so nothing should of been moved/disconnected, but this may help as a reference.

Just ignore any MAF related stuff ;)

specifically check the vacuum hoses behind the 2nd turbo, that come from the vacuum tank on the driver's side and plug into the black metal piping that runs along the top of the turbos. my hoses came loose back there and it was a pain to find..
