Hey there, I was just wondering how much would it cost to do a 1jz conversion on a 1ggte if i provide the donor car (a jza-70) ??? yes, the entire car not just the front cut. has been in accident and doesn't drive.
Also how long would u need the 2 cars for??
Dean.

Hi Dean,
not something we can give an indication price-wise until we have a whole lot more info.
There are many aspects we would need to discuss and work out with you, and further details about the two vehicles aswell.
The two different models have different power steering setup (with the later having a variable speed), would you want diff & brakes changed over, do you want the jza stripped?, Is the intercooler still ok on the damaged car?, is the cross member still ok? would you want the hydraulic fan converted to waterpump driven fan?, are both cars auto or manual...one of each?
Also, the wiring is a job all on it's own, do you want the dash units changed over.
Will you have the air con system wired?
I could go on.... :D
Probably your best bet if you're serious about doing this, is to make a time to see Brenton to discuss all the ins 'n outs...let him know your budget, weather it has to be ready for regency etc..
I hope in my unhelpfulness, this somehow helps - I'm sure that you will understand that the price range will vary greatly depending on all the above (and more).
Catchya later!
