Well SaSupra Members its time for the first cruise of the year. We shall call it "2012 SaSupra Barbie Cruise" :rock:

It has been a little quite about the forums in the last few months but now is a perfect time to get the ball rolling again.

The cruise will include 2 meet points (1 South and 1 north) to accommodate the wide spread of our members. Then we will make out way to Lyndoch Oval in the Barossa Valley for a BBQ and refreshments under the shade of some nice trees. Aiming to get to the Oval by 1:30pm

It will be great opportunity for new members to come out and meet the rest of the club and great for all us members to catch up, it has been quite a while since I have seen you guys.
We will stick around the oval for a few hours, feel free to leave if you have other commitments.
Leave around 3:30 and make out way back to the meet point No.1 at Mile End.

Ben12a from the forum has kindly offered to let us drop in on the way back through Munno Para to check out his awesome track 1JZ Soarer. We will wait till the day to see if he is still available.


Date: Sunday, Feburary 26th 2011

Meet time: 11:00am
Meet point 1 -BB's Cafe - Mile End Homemaker Centre. Arrive at 11:00am for 11:30 start onto the 2nd meet point
Meet point 2 – Civic Park – Modbury just off of Main North Road before TTP
Stratco St Agnes car park - The cruise looks like it will be bigger than first thought so we have changed the 2nd meet point to Stratco where the carpark is huge.
Click Here for a Map (travel time will depend on traffic) Looking to get there at around 12:00pm. Leave at 12:30

A cruise route map will be handed out on the day to everyone participating to avoid getting lost... but we always manage to loose somebody, last time it was us.

BBQ:
Sausage on bread with onion = $1.00
Cans of soft drink = $1.00


I will try and remember to bring sauces this time. Also my mum said she would make her world famous coleslaw so there's another good reason to come out.

If the weather lately is anything to go on, it should be a nice sunny day, perfect for a nice cruise.
We would love to see as many new and old members out to this one as we can to kick off an awesome year for SaSupra.
Friends, family and anyone interested in out club are more than welcome to come along.
Please post up numbers if you are interested in coming or bringing people along so I can work out how much food and drink to buy.

OHHH serious!!! hmmmm, maybe have to change to the weekend after, which would be March.
What dates are you back closest to that time?

if the date was a week either side of it i would only be a maybe. quite booked up for my trips home at the moment.
the week before might be having a weekend away. the week after i will be going to Soundwave so might be recovering or going to clipsal?

I think we are going to leave it as it is.
I entered AJD last year and all we did was walk around the cars like 20 times in the scorching heat and then ended up going to the pubs for the last half of it anyways.
And if the 5.0 are there then it keeps them away from us too (we hope)

If anybody has any problems with the date staying as it is please let me know. Otherwise it remains the same

Car should (fingers crossed) be back early this week, so i can have her lookin' real pretty for you all ;)
just out of curiosity, but who will be meeting at the south meet point/ who'll be leading from there? just to see if it's worth me waiting there or to drive out further so i can accommodate my trek up haha
