Mine was a complete and utter C-Bomb to remove, ended up needing a steering wheel puller to get the bastard off.

There's a Ridox Kit on Import Monster that's already sprayed RSP, needs a bit of work though, and doesn't have the carbon accents.

Ah, Ridox kits are the only kit I could possibly consider putting on, only with the carbon bits though. Still, tough stock look FTW.

Pity it's only an NA /flamesuit on

I hope to have that fixed by next christmas ;)

TBH I really enjoy the look of a stock one, probably won't go down a bodykit path for quite a while.

Update tiem!

Here's a picture of the steering wheel on now. Also got me a set of Blitz Technospeed rims (18x9 front 18x10 rear), which will be wrapped in 245/35r18 and 285/30r18 Federal 595RS-R semi slicks.

http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/images/tyres/federal-595-rs-r.jpg

The previous owner had put in a set of blue LEDs in the gauge cluster, these looked a bit tacky and the light was very unclear, so as soon as I hooked up the new Optima Yellowtop battery I swiftly got in a set of superbright white LEDs, they look crisp and clean and when sitting in the car strongly remind me of a stock cluster from a few newer cars i've been in.

At the same time I decided I need some basic audio to listen to, I grabbed an alpine CDE-123E headunit with bluetooth and a set of alpine SPX-17PRO speakers teamed with a PDX-F6 amp. Also for sh!ts and gigs I had a set of stainless steel covers for the aircon buttons put in just to tidy it up.

Well thats how it is at the moment, but remember me saying I would do something about it being an NA? well.....

This is a short block of the mighty 2JZ-GTE, new in box from Toyota, its on its way now over from NZ, this is part of the long term build which I hope to have done in a year? (if a build has ever been so quick :P).
There are no plans for a body kit as I love the stock look of these cars, but having said that I do have a TRD Type S wing on order which should be here soon and apart from that there won't be much else unless I convince myself to get a Top Secret rear diffuser down the line.

No diffuser IMO. It's not as if they are functional anyway. IMO 295/30 is a better size than 285/30, however it's a bit harder to get tyres in.

I've got the 6 speed manual, J160, tidy little box but not suited for massive power but there are a number of examples of them holding up to 275RWKW comfortably, same box thats in the Mazda MX5, RX8 and Nissan S15 Silvia's so you get a lot of choice of gear sets from Nismo, TRD and Mazda Speed :P

Rim fitted, front will sit a bit lower once gear box is in but at this stage it looks pretty darn high!

http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/531020_3408814215197_1115191549_33453006_329339736_n.jpg

And new wing, fit looks a bit average in this picture as it was a rush job but played some more and its fairly decent :)

Indeed IcE is right, they have no more CF ones but they do have black leather red stitched OEM 3 spoke wheels for a steal :) http://www.gorillain.../interior-used/

Either that or import monster has two I noticed (one without airbag though so be wary of its price!)

Yes brand new at USD$975, but that doesn't include the air bag (USD$560), so not a cheap way to go but you do get a genuine brand new set :)

Where as my second hand CF one has a bit of yellowing of the clearcoat, nothing major that you can see in the flesh but shows up really well when taking a photo on a camera with a flash :P

Would love to get a set of VS-XX in 18" with a gold face and polished lip, fell in love with the gold face on an RSP thanks to kimbo,

Or even these blitz beauties, although I imagine they would be hard to get!

I finally had some time to sit down and read this thread tonight. Looks like a great build, Justin!

Nice choice of wheels - good to see that you liked the look of the Blitz wheels that I used to run (silver in my signature below, and gold 19" for AutoSalon years ago).

I look forward to seeing your next round of "Christmas presents" :D
