I then decided it would be a brilliant idea to go out and waste a bucket load of money on some guages I didn't need, and thus this was the result.

It also came with tinted tail lights which I don't really like the look of, so I got a set of normal S1 tails (I prefer the look of them to S2) from phantom.

I want.
Before you put it in PM me regarding a little side project im working on.
I am experimenting with a spare one I have so that the lights (not LED replacemnt bulbs but a shit load of LED's in ribbon form) are blue until a predetermined rev range then they all change to red. Also a knob that can be mounted in the dash somewhere (a hole will need to be drilled) so that you can adjust the rev range at which the lights change to red. I think 4K seems about right but having the option will be fun
Oh yeah and good to pictures of it, even thought its not in the best shape. you finaly got one JT!!!!! we need to have a cruise especially for you when its finaly on the road

Lights in the tacho could be interesting to see, Cyberdiamond was talking about putting a strip above the warning lights and clock off to the left to do the same as you're thinking. Have a spare tacho if you need, sounds like a fun experiment, are you using individual red&blue LEDs or using bi coloured ones?
Can't wait to cruise in it, but don't think that will be for a few months if everything goes smoothly :(

Personally not a fan of the s1 lights, I reckon the S2 lights look far better but to each their own I guess.
Put a wing on it wingless A80's are :smileygay:

Hoping to pick up a TRD wing for it at some stage, but that isn't top of the priority or budget lists at the moment. :(

Steedzy was happier with my stock wing on the back. and i was happier with 50 bucks in my wallet for a bottle of tequilla :)

At 120 mph the factory wing applies about 60lb downforce. The genuine TRD was apparently worth about 70 lb in the version 1 model ( no longer available and created too much under steer in GT Cup Race configuration where they had to use factory aero package ) and about 65 lb in the version available that we see cloned all over the world. Those figures are for genuine only as many of the clones are not quite the same due to lazy manufacturing and mould degeneration over the years. That said the TRD one does look better and takes a bit of the "Roundness" out of the A80's arse.
There ya go a little history gem I found somewhere in my Supra travel over the net :) Could be fact or fiction as I found it on the Internet

I removed my wing and think it's one of the best decisions I made. With the rear bar it makes the car appear lower than it actually is by not having the wing on there.
The TRD wing is definitely the way to go here if keeping the rest of the body stock. Have a chat to Aaron @ Import Monster. He had a wing sitting there a while back that I was going to buy but decided not to when I got my kit. In my opinion, that with a carbon fibre blade and CF front lip would look ace with the RSP.
Then all it needs is a set of 18 or 19" Work VS-XX Rims with black centers and a polished lip :D

I'd seen reference to the 60lb for the OEM wing as well. Hadn't seen references to the TRD figures though, interesting! Pity the TRD version is not available in CF versions.

We're all familiar with the Type-S which is the one I would love to get,

Would love to get a set of VS-XX in 18" with a gold face and polished lip, fell in love with the gold face on an RSP thanks to kimbo,

Or even these blitz beauties, although I imagine they would be hard to get!

LJZ; it's going to get something done to it engine wise, still not 100% sure which way I go but after I get the RSP through regency and on the road I will purchase the engine/halfcut of my choice and strip her down and rebuild it before going in.
Mmm import monster have some cheap Blitz Technospeeds, just the wrong colour and a bit gutter rashed, but that can be fixed! Might have to save my pennies a little bit.
