After the pain of dealing with the insurance company i finally got my payout and went and picked up the new supra saturday morning.
Just thought id share it with you all, im over the moon about this baby, although i still miss the ol' silver NA G21.
Im not completely up with specs n what not for this car, all i can tell you is Its a 97, series 2 TT. auto unfortunately as i couldnt find a manual TT in my price range, and none as clean or good condition mind you. The guy had a dyno paper in it from a few months back, i shows 458hp? im not sure what these pull stock as ive never really looked into TT's before now. Its not stock however, the previous owner had some slight modifications done but nothing illegal or drastic (wish i could remember exactly what he told me but..)
Drives amazing and handles even better, just needs a good wash and a polish on the weekend and BAM :ok:
Apart from that here she is:

if that is really a 341rwkw Supra then that is one of the best kept secrets around.
you'd need upgraded turbos, fuel system, boost and ECU management to produce that - something that would put it into the realm of illegal and drastic :)

Enjoy, but be careful with it! There is a big performance difference between an NA and TT in terms of power delivery.

As Kim said if its 341rwkw that engine setup has more than a little TLC
Seriously mate after the NA it will be a huge difference in driving style. I come from a performance V8 background and I still get amazed by what these little 3L TT engines can make.
Main thing you need to be extremely aware of is the old TT sidestep. What I am referring to is the slight hesitation then rush of power as the 2nd turbo kicks in. Not a problem in a straight line but something to be mindful of if you are at slowish speed when cornering if you’re pushing things. With the auto it can kick down a gear and you will go from 1 turbo to 2 in the blink of an eye and could find things going sideways before you are ready. Once you have been driving it for a while you will learn when this might happen and either drop it a gear so you are already on song or just go easy through the corner. I fell for that trap myself and I have a manual and ended up on the wrong side of the road going towards traffic (luckily there was none) and embarrassed nobody but myself.
I noticed you are on P's. I realize you are probably OK as outside the stupid new rules but I’m sure you understand Mr Plod will probably give you a little more attention than before. Make sure any mods are discreet and well hidden and leave it as stock as you can at least until off the P's.
Have fun and enjoy just be aware the Supra has big teeth
Cheers

I do fall under the new laws for high powered vehicles, but i got an exemption on the basis that i need to get around for work and uni to parts as far as lonsdale and further, and this happens to be the only car available to me. Lucky as i only realized i just scraped in with the new laws after i got my license back mid last september after i paid for the car. That could have been a problem.
She sure is an amazing car though, hopefully ill have a chance to come out on one of the events soon.
