Bought a JZA80, well actually i swapped my Tickford EF XR6 Manual and a grand cash for this. it is damaged but nothing i cant
fix. bought most parts already just need two front guards and im all good.

its a 2jzge, so no turbo but im under 25 i dont need the extra insurence costs. its a 5speed so thats alright. and it still has
that new toyota smell in it :)

damage is, bonnet, both headlights, both front fenders, bumper, both front skirts, front right chassic rail.
might even fix the front left guard yet.

has been on this fourm before, too.
Before pics.

pics of it now.

This was Avender's supra (i think that was his name on here). That guy didnt last too long, i think he needed to buy Skyline or lancer instead of doing damage to this beauty.
It was a very nice car though, when i was first in the market i actually had a deposit on it from the guy who Avender got it from, but then he put it into a parking sign and dented the boot and rear bar. I think from memory thats still there, but thatd be the least of your problems now wouldnt it, Good luck mate, keep us update on your progress, be cool to see.

yeah thats him, adam is a good friend of mine, and he didnt actually do this damage to it. was someone elses doing :(
yeah its still got the dent in the boot, thats not all though the rear panel is pushed in where
the dent is too. but thats fuck all really, i'll fix that while its at work on the bench getting the
rail and skirts fixed.

hopefully get some bench time soon to get it straightened out.

anyone know any cheap places to get some supra parts. need some supra guards lol

This is my old car, sold it to Avender. Sad too see it in this state, I think it pretty much needs a whole respray as not only is it smashed at the front it's been keyed and the boot and rear bumber need work. But must admit I had it for about a year and a half and had no mechanical problems at all, just little things like electric windows and stuff.

sad to see the supra like this.

but im sure its in good hands now :D

as johno mentioned, it only has minor issues back in the day

not sure about now.

should be a good car to repair and back on the road again.

recommended a respray.

yeah its getting a full respray anyway, will be doing that myself along with a mate.

as far as i know nothing mechanical is wrong with it and he has a fair few receipts for things that have been
replaced/fixed.

yeah it is sad to see it like this, i dont think he will be letting anyone drive his cars anymore.
but on the plus side, because of it i was able to grab it pretty cheap and its not on the WOVR so no
viv is a plus.

viv???

yeah written off vehicle register, and viv is vehicle inspection something... forgot the
last one.

ok so bench time on the globably jig is going to cost me nothing, boss said as long as
i get it on the bench on a friday and its off before work on monday i can do whatever i
want. so wont take me as long as i though.

engine will be coming out this weekend and the rest will be stripped.

also might be painting it in shockwave blue, the BA/BF ford blue colour.
two reason, one i like it and no other supra will have it (i dont think)
and we have like 40liters at work that we are not going to use.

thoughts on the colour?

That is a great Blue. I even mentioned to Reaper if I was going for a full colour change that would be high on my list
