End of the month rap up
It’s been a very busy start to the year with Marvey tech supporting M.E.A.
(Mobile electronics Australia .com.au) To start South Australians first full series of car audio comps in many years.

We started with m.e.a members traveling to Melbourne for the start of the Victorian comp series and some judges training.
I was unable to make the comp but did attend the training witch we all found very help full.

we followed that up by recreating the training at Marvey tech for the guys that couldn’t make it to Melbourne.
This leads us to the street machine show and shine where we held the usual S.P.L. comp
with Dean Grants Gold XR6 taking out the novice trophy
AJ Perscello and his magna wagon with a 148 takes the pro
and Samuel Mc waters wins in the open class with 156.5.

The sound quality judges tested out around 20 car audio systems and awarded the judges chose award to Rob’s green Ford TX3
and someones Toyota Lexus just missing out
Now we are getting organized to do the first points round at the old skool n new age car show at Bice Oval Christies Beach on the 2nd of April see you there

Marvey tech would also like to announce that Audison and Hertz are now available
This premium audio brands will help everyone achieve great sound quality in there cars

haha cheers mate, I am also very curious as to how far I can push this thing.
If I can find some time either this week or the next I will go see Marveytech. The main issue thing I am unsure about is the correct way to port the box, once he has a look I will follow his direct instruction on where to put the new ports and maybe dynamat before the next comp

I would like to have a run with the tones, I took the results from JT's post out of the SMASA pics thread for the pro.

Pro

1 Aj Perscello 148.5 (140.1 @20hz)
2 Alex Mason 145.4
3 Simon Langford 136.4
4 Beau Linn 136 .3

Seems pretty high but maybe with the right tuning...
