Well for those that attended the D and S auto detailing day that was organsied last year you may remember the small little bottle that improved/restored black plastic trims to being new again.

I had them trial a small section on the Cowl panel (bit between window and bonnet) and it was a ver dramatic difference. So i had them treat the whole panel with the chemical.

I strongly believe this is a much better alternative to painting. it is nearly impossible to properly prep the panel for paint which in turn means there is a definate life span to the paint. take a look at the pics below.

I also had my driver and passenger door windows tinted. so much nicer in and outside the car.

That has come up really good.

That and the headlights are the main thing that let the A80's down visually. Im thinking a few A80 owners here will be very interested in getting that done.

What sort of $$$ if I may ask ??

Ahh, good old "Forever Black" or similar. Stuff works wonders and lasts quite a while (years).

Looks amazing, almost brand new again. How big is the bottle and how much would you roughly need to do the whole piece?

I'm not entirely sure how much was used. the bottle was maybe no more than 100ml...if that?
