Hey all,

so far it happened about 3 times, its where im turning and it feels like my powersteering just disapears and the steering goes really hard - and i cant even turn... then it releases and powersteering cuts back in - and its smooth again....

is actually only happenes on wet days - not sure if that has anything to do with it ...

i checked my fluid - and the powersteering belt - tyres pumped up and they all look fine

what could it be ????

i had the whole powersteering system replaced a few years back - as it had a huge leak at that stage - but never affected the turning ...

any help appreciated

Stika :ok:

Can't say I've ever heard of this before.
First thing I'd do is to bleed the whole system, if that doesn't work I know my old p/s rack used to occasionally jump whenever I turned right, but that was cause the rack was stuffed.
So if it's neither of the above I'm out, hope that can help a little.

Sounds like it may be electrical to me. Cant comment on the GA70 specifically though.

Being that it's only happening in the wet, I'm going with JDN.
Try dissconnecting the wires to the power steering rack and take it for a drive to see if it feels the same.

The connector is on the drivers side of the engine bay, the plug has one white with red strip and one white with green strip (click here for pic)

The plug your looking for is plug B on this page at the bottom.
