I am currently looking into what the problem may be. In the mean time, please bear with me.
One thing to note, though, is that free email accounts are not accepted as valid registration emails. So if you are trying to register using your Hotmail, Yahoo, GMail etc. etc. account can I suggest you try a different (proper) email address instead.
Failing that, you can send me an email at nospam@sasupra.com and include your prefered username, password and proper email address and I'll set up an account for you manually. You may have to wait though, as I am off to work in about 10 minutes and won't be back till later tonight.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience,
Mark

she said she has been invited before but due to only having a hotmail address the site wouldnt allow her to register...
Anything we can do to avoid this ???? i wonder how many others have had this problem ???
can we let them register and then if they want to become financial - then they need a fixed email address ??
is there a email host - that we can send them to to be able to register ?????
Pointed towards the moderating team - thanks Guys n Gals

Maybe an alternative would be to place one of the admins direct email address on the home page that is viewed by the guests to the site. They can then directly email the admin team and get validated this way.
There are a lot of internet users who only have a hotmail or gmail account and as the case is above, we may be losing potential new members and more revenue for the club.

As a matter of policy they all get deleted for the reasons mentioned.
People usually have at least 1 valid email address, generally your ISP one - how else are you cruising the net then?
If it's really a problem then they can hit the SAS email addy and we can get round it that way but not keen on doing this just so someone can NOT supply a valid email addy. If it was someone a member actually knew ie. not a stranger we could bend the rules though for sure. If it is genuinely someone off the street then not keen.
Sooo... answer is - get them to email the SAS addy with an introduction and maybe get them leave a mobile contact - we can then ring them to confirm and then allow/look out for the rego.

Good old Hotmail,Yahoo,Freemail you name em they are all a wonderful source of Spammers and hackers. I suggest if they know a friend with a fixed email address they ask nice and register through them and then notify the mods of their Hotmail adress as Primary contact.
Just one option as I did this with a friend of mine to get him on in the early days.
Cheers
