Wanted to Buy .....

a right hand side rear light socket in good working condition,

as mine has decided to poo its self of late - :wacko:


( mines a ga70 but dont think there would be any difference - between a70 - ma70 etc )

replaced light sockets in both lights -

still no brake lights - :angry:

is it a problem maybe in the pedal area - when im pushing the brake on its not connecting to the wire which send to turn the brake lights on ???

and idea's

or shall it be a visit to the auto electrician ? :blink:

Quite possibly might be. Try pushing the switch by hand or pull out a multimeter. . .Also check the fuse :lol: Does it have that black box that people talk about failing? I dunno, haven't had to deal with A70 brake lights yet. . .

Its not the controller box thingy in the back of the car, on the right hand side is it?

They are notorious for going, specially if they get a little bit wet...

yeah thats the thing I'm thinking of. . . its a black box that every A70 owner says gives up after a while. . . Id check that. . .

Like I said, I've never had to touch the A70 brake lights!. . .

cheers for all the info - i might go see Bass with his voltage metre - and do a first check before i start a rewire .....

and grab the controller box things ( as per ice ) for HarleyMK111 and see how that works also ..

Problem fixed thanks to Bass - wires not the best under the dash.....
