Well I have finally gotten my 18x7.5 Rays rims on the car, personally thought that as they were standard on USDM L-tuned models with lowered suspension that I would be fine, turns out I was wrong.
Traveling through the hills yesterday afternoon just going for a lackadaisical drive (no seriously, was even keeping to the speed limit (80)) and went along a sweeping right hander that had a bump in the middle, hit the little bump and crunch crunch I hear the unfamiliar sound of my new tyres rubbing against the arch,
Upon arriving home I discover that I now have a 2 inch long crack along the top of my wheel arch, annoyed? you could say so...

The advice I have gotten is that I will need to get the front guards rolled slightly, has anyone had any experience getting this done in Adelaide and at what cost?

Wheelworx did a mates for $100 I think it was (bout 50 per corner), end result, dented guards, but no scrubbing.

Most places in the Mount will do it for free on the provisions that you sign a form stating that you wanted it done and they're not responsible for dents / cracks in paint etc.

One option is coilovers and run them stiff, thats what I'm doing once I've gotten my guards flared, do not want the wheels going anywhere near the guards.

Can kinda see the dents in these pics, much more noticeable in the flesh

Got mine done a while ago by Ace's Whitewalls, friendly bloke that was mobile, cost me $50 a corner and he services the south area.

Is spike mobile and what areas does he cover? Always good to know of a few around.
