I've been looking into getting a coil-over-plug setup for a while in order to tidy up the engine bay a little, but I don't want to spend big bucks on a brand new set of bosch coils or something similar; since I don't NEED them, I only WANT them (as I'm sure most car owners face such decisions :P). I've heard that the packs from the 1J can be wired directly into 7M wiring to replace the packs sitting on top of the rocker covers, for the coil-over-plug setup the 1J's come with?
Any help would be great, thanks guys :)

what you heard is correct... if you want weeks of utter headaches and feel like making up your own circuit board to run them....
This link will show you an easier way that is pretty much plug and play besides lengthening a few wires...

I've found the best place to get the coils and wires from an IS300 are from Driftmotion. They are brand new ones but are quite cheap.
They can be found on this page: http://store.driftmo...electronics.php
