Theres one or two at Fours n more
5 langford street pooraka.
I don't think they were aerotop.
But honestly why would you go aerotop?!?!?! Sun roofs/aerotops etc weaken the chassis and the Supra acutally has a really nice clean roof line.
Anyway just my two cents :D
Happy hunting.

Last time i went past Fours'N'more that body was still there, it doesnt appear to be in too bader condtion, but you be building the car from scratch if you got it i imagine?
If you hunt through car sales and the FS section in this forum there have been some cheap TT supras for sale....much cheaper then i'd like (still trying to sell mine).
If you managed to grab one of these cheap TT supras you could flog the engine off for a good price and then do your desired conversion.
There was one on the forum for 14k i think, but he has since put the price up to 15k since he returned over seas.
***Edit***
I should add the Aussie dollar is strong against the Japanese yen again (it was at 57-63 yen for a while :(...). You could get what you want from a place like prestigemotorsport.com ...importing could be a very cost effective option and you might get a better/younger body without an engine? You'd have to get an engineer report for the engine conversion anyway so fixing tyres/wheels to aussie stuff wouldnt be a problem for you anyway?

The A80 supras in Japan were (still are?) running V8's in the JGTC racing (Japanese touring cars). Theres probably some gold mine (on the net somewhere) on tunning, stats, and info somewhere if you know the word to search with. and then "excite" should translate it into english. The only bar from finding this info is knowing what japanese word to search the net with...
JGTC has very soft rules and parody which is mainly bent on all cars going as fast as possible...
They do stuff like carbon fibre parts including chassis...moving as many parts as possible to the centre of the car and as low as possible eg along the drive train tunnel.
Any time someone wins they get a weight penalty which gets added to with consequent win untill they lose a race or don't come first. After that the weight is lowered accordingly.
Sounds much more interesting (in my opinion) then our touring cars where some parts are shared across makers!!!! and its required that all makers begin the season with the same front and rear down force...And other car makers are not permitted to join the race even at a massive disadvantage (using an N/A V6).....can you still call that racing? :offtopic:

Last year a Netz Cup winning Altezza was imported into Aus so there must be a market over there for that kind of stuff

I still havent checked out fours n more due to work :( my next RDO (in feb) ill go down there. Not looking to do a conversion just putting in a built motor, hence why i dont need one. Not going to buy a whole supra either because i simply dont have time to strip it and wait to sell off all the parts, because the plan is to upgrade everything, so a shell is perfect for me. All i would really need is the interior.
I work full time, and part time uni. Possibly will start working saturdays as well, so would love to get started with this before uni starts :S...

I love the a70's as well but im dead set on an 80. After my R34 the a70 would be too much of a downgrade for me (age wise).

Either way im a fan of both.
In my oppinion its worth hanging out for what you really want. In some ways i regret getting my A22 body instead of sticking with an A23. Then again the A22 was in awesom condition and most A23's i saw at the time were not.
Just my two cents :D
