Heya gang,

Well its been four years with my NA A70 and its finaly time to upgrade.

Im about to get a stock black auto RZ and was wondering what optional equipment they came with compared to the 6spd RZ.

So besides the gearbox, what may be different?

Any info would be awesome.

Cheers

rubiX

Being an Auto RZ, my guess you have a pre 96.5? Post 96.5 Autos are generally RZS.

Torsen LSD was an option for the autos and the autos run a smaller diff than the early model TTs

Bilsteins were standard for both the RZ Auto and Manual TTs and both should have leather steering wheels (unlike the layer model autos)

Other than the driveline, trans tunnel and ECU, they are virtually the same. All other options are available to both i.e. cruise control and active spoiler. Depending on the year even folding mirrors.

Post 94.8 RZ should have big brakes as standard

Seeing as you have a TT and an A series diff it'll be a post 96 update, so RZ-S as you say.

Electric seats were most likely an option for the RZ-S. You're probably better off decoding VIN/Chassis code info via www.mkiv.co.nz rather than the UK mkiv owners forum.
