Alright everyone, status report!
Me and dad have managed to figure out most of the body damage ourselves, obviously needs to go and get cleaned up properly but all looks good enough to drive around, atleast for now.
Car should be in the shed within the next few days to get the engine out and cleaned up, new manifold, intercooler etc. on and HOPEFULLY (add about one year) back on the road by the end of feb/start of march if all goes to plan!
Here's some photos of the "fixed" body damage and how she's sitting at the moment.
Also took it for a roll up and down the driveway, still starts and runs (with no intercooler) surprisingly well, which was a huuugee relief.

Good to see things are happening for you mate. I reckon the guy that painted the roof did mine on the Apollo. What was Toyotas issue for fark sake. Build great cars but crap with paint through the 80'2 and early 90's.

Cheers
Darren

Quick status update.
Got the engine in, but still not running just a few more bits and pieces to sort out, plug loom back in, hook up intercooler etc.
But all is going to plan so far.
Have fixed the body up well enough to drive around in for now, managed to clean up my old bumper and make it not look too bad with a bit of TLC haha.
New swar bars, endlinks, manifold and all that is now fitted and hopefully if i get a few parts i'm waiting on before saturday i'll be making the cruise :)
Here's a quick shot of a mock-up i did, still needs a bit more of a tidy up hahaha

Looking really nice.

by the way, you need to put a one-way valve on the line from the brake booster to the inlet manifold

Which alternator relocation bracket are you running?

Thanks for the advice!
It's one that Ron sent with the manifold.
It's a one piece that uses the A/C mounts on the side of the block.
