hey guys, i have just done the disc brake conversion on the back of
the celica and i swapped over the lines from the corona to the celica
and also took off the front calipers so there was nothing brake wise
on the car so a lot of air got in to the lines.
now that i have all the calipers back on a mate and i have been trying
to bleed the brakes, starting at furthest point away from the m/c.
but we went through 1 and a 1/2 bottles of brake fluid and there is still
a absolute shit load of air still in the lines and we havent even gotten
to the front yet.
any ideas?

Double check you're not leaking out brake fluid anywhere and....keep going ;)

Is there some kinda of guide that you are using to bleed the brakes, or just doing it by feel? Cos there is a bit of an art to it. But, one bottle should be enough to do the entire set of lines on your car, as it was for both my Camira and Supra.
Pro tip: only do the the bleed nipple up when your brake pedal is FLAT to the floor. This should mean that no air should get sucked back into the system, at least, vis the bleed nipples.

yep thats what i do, open the bleed nipple while a mate presses down on
the pedal and close the bleed nipple before he releses the brake.
im going to get more fluid today and check to see if there is a leak some
where
