I'm selling it so i can focus on my 76 celica project car which is getting a new engine.
I think it will take a few months or more to sell the car, but i'll still come out to cruises when i can :D
Catch ya.

a TT 6-speed manual is hard to find so someone had better snap this up!

Shouldn't be too hard to sell since it's a 6 speed Twin Turbo - the most sought after of all A80s.
It's a really nice car and I'm sure the new owner will be very pleased with it.

If it doesn't sell I won't be upset :D
Because it's such a classic.
But Dragonsani is right, having too many projects is just too hard.

Yeah, I figured this would be the case,
I mean you could by a brand new mitsubishi lancer for the same price yay ( :puke: )
Just have to wait for someone who wants to buy a classic performance car and a piece of history :P

Another person wants to swap their R34 for my Supra...
I just had a look on carsales.com.au and alot of the r34's are only selling for 13.9k :( and thats for 98-99 models...and presumably this persons car is a GT-t not a GTR.
So unless it was a GTR R34 then it really wouldn't be worth it :(
Also the GT-t is 2.5L vs the 2JZ-GTE 3.0L. (and one less turbo...nissan bigotries aside heh.)

Hey,
Nah sorry Buddy,
Its worth more on the car then separate unfortunately.
I've heard someone say its worth 900$ new and did a quick google search just then and saw some prices for 525USD
So its not worth much on its own, but it makes the car special.
I've got the supra on some other forums as well and everyone wants to buy the x bar :D

looks like it would be a useful addition if you didn't already have a rear strut brace in place

Yeah,
Really thats quite cheap, I had quotes for a custom front brace for my celica and the cheapest i could find was $800.
I haven't driven any other supras, but the ride i get from the back is REALLY good. Power down to the road is great out of corners (when the tyres aren't worn out)
Getting the celica as stiff at the back is going to prove a challenge because the fuel tank sits between the rear suspension towers :o (but i have plans)

I've had an offer for what i've asked 21k. But the person wants to have someone else pick up the car and pay by paypal...as he is an oceanographer and is at sea...wants to buy the car for a gift for his son.
Sounds plausible as its the end of exams almost, and the guy doesn't seem to have the best command of english.
This does sound like those scams i've heard about though, where the buyer is out of the country and someone else does the pickup. This guy says that the car would be picked up after the payment has been completed....?
Any thoughts on this?
Still I'll ring some places and see what they say about the scams.

Sounds VERY similar to what Russel (mate of mine) was offered for his but the guy was 'from Italy'. Turned out to be a waste of time, not entirely sure how they plan to make it work though.
HOWEVER, recently I had emails from a person who claimed to be a pilot and was overseas all the time and couldnt call requesting information on my old man's kit car, Had seven emails from him asking questions that werent structured very well at all. Turns out the guy is legit, he rang when he got back to the gold coast, and got his mechanic to help translate / discuss the deal and get bank details etc... so it is possible the guy you are dealing with is legit, but doing it through pay pal seems kinda dodgey.
