Well before the old site was fixed up i had a little topic posted about what ive done to the supe since i got her.

Seeing as thats all been lost in cyber space i thought id do a bit of a recap from the previous post and then add the new stuff.

When i got the car it looked like this, the blitz front bar and veilside skirts.
I removed the front bar, which currently sits in my garage ($300 O.N.O if anyones interested!)

http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/3126/dsc02938p.jpg

Then i put on the stock front bar and resprayed the bottom silver to match the body.
I sprayed the license plate surroundings and then took off the black license plate surrounding things around the rear plates

http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/2627/dsc02979v.jpg

After this, and most recent of all i purchased new 18 inch Avanti rims and new tyres along with a double din clarion dvd player.
After all this, this is what it looks like now.

Bare in mind theres still much more to come. Goodbye money.

Nice head unit :)

Rims are nice and only if the rears were a bit wider to fill the guards.

Thanks.
Yeah i know, that disappointed me abit when i saw the width of the rear tyres but not much i can do now ey.
Still, not too noticeable in real life.

It depends on how good a job you want to do. I always planned on upgrading to big brakes so I just pulled the wheels off, cleaned the calipers up with metho and a rag then painted them while still on the car. They actually came up really well. The cheap paint let it down though - I used the cheapo stuff from Super Cheap. A couple of bits have flaked off. Painted them over a year ago though, so it lasted for a while.

The "G2 Brake Caliper Paint System Kit" from mvpmotorsports.com is meant to be really good. It's on this page: http://www.mvpmotors...=199&SearchYN=N

I was reading this thread on the national forum about the caliper paint a few days ago
http://www.supraforu...read.php?t=2693

It didnt seem to hard the way the guy explained it and he took everything off.
Im not too fussed if theyr not 100% amazing quality.

How much was the paint you got from super cheap Dragosani?
I was either going to go red with black like yours, or silver to match the body of the car. Red may look abit too much with the rims.

I think it was around $16-17. Ended up doing two cars with that one can.

I havnt been on here for a while due to me working like a dog for the last few months and my G21 account hitting the post limit (im in the process of getting everything together to become a financial member so this old account will have to do for now) but i thought seeing as its such a nice day outside and im not working what better way to spend it then sitting at home on the computer in a dark room.

Ive ventured into fixing up little things in the car lately, i scored 2 brand new clarion subs of a mate for absolutely nothing so i thought why not put them in.
Only problem i had was getting a box, so why not make one? Theres not much on the net as far as exact guides for supras so i pretty much got everything together i could and just made one.

http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/504/29082010.jpg
http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/6892/03092010.jpg
http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/1846/03092010001d.jpg

I need to just get it all hooked up to my unit (if anyone has any idea who to see thats good and doesnt cost the world that would be much appreciated, just not auto perfection because there absolutely rubbish).

Im in the process of getting my veilside pods painted that have been sitting in my garage for nearly as long as ive had the car so theyll go on and i purchased a 3.5" muffler from a friend brand new, and although i wanted a full exhaust this will have to do for now
http://img811.imageshack.us/img811/4472/07092010003.jpg
(also if anyone knows someone that can put this on that would be great).

So its coming along alright for now, apart from my drivers side window failing and now i have to pay $400 for a new rig or something plus get it installed.

Bring on summer and cruising weather.

If your on the North side try Marvey Tech for the Sub wire up as his prices are very reasonable with quality work.

For the Muffler either Fours N More or Sinergy could be worth a look at.

If down south try Well Hung Exhaust at Lonsdale.
