hi guys,

i ve recently noticed that everytime i cruise over 100 kms/hr the caution comes on,

well no biggy im guessing its the diagnostics has to be reset,

but now everytime i drive the car the caution light is on

i checked all on the signals, nothing wrong

this light keeps annoying me by turning on and off

i have a feeling something is wrong with either electronics or the motor

can anyone list out posabilities, as i dont have time to drop my car to a mechanic,

and i rather source out the problem and fix it myself.

thanks

it could be a warning about fluid levels - check your brake fluid and power steering levels as i had this annoying problem a few months ago. took me a while to figure out that my brake fluid low as the master warn light <!> came on when accelerating and decelerating. i thought it was O2 sensors and other stuff before a simple check of my brake fluid reservoir revealed the low level.

You said it happened above 100kph, does it happen all the time now (below 100kph).
Could be any of the sensors.

thanks guys, for your help

the solution was my brake fluid, no one wonder the brakes didnt work properly when i was doing some Hill work on saturday, scary stuff!!!!!!!. my car simply didnt want to stop,

the bit that scared me was down the mt lofty track from the freeway, in some points there was no guard rails,

i dont remember that from a few years ago????

well, that's explains a few things with your brakes then!

i suspect that your pads probably developed fade going downhill and the lack of brake fluid didn't help with the pedal feel either. i think it's time for new pads and a full brake bleed just to be safe (especially if you've boiled your brake fluid before)
