NA-t With Aristo Half Cut

Hi Guys,

I need to get some info im doing a conversion for my little cousin so just thought id ask you guys if there were any tricks or stuff i will need

he has a 94 NA supra .....and has purchased a 95 2jzgte aristo front cut what else will he need besides computer and front mount the aristo is a 95 non vvti i think it is auto so he wants to use his 5 speed box too

any help or info you guys can give would be greatly appreciated

Hey Dom,

Installing an Aristo engine in a Supra can be done but it isn’t the cheapest or easiest way to go.

A quick run down of the differences are as follows:

Sump configuration
hydraulic fan
electric brake assist.

Wiring is the worst part as the Aristo loom will not plug into the Supra Junction boxes. Best bet is to try and source a Supra loom or spend many hours or thousands of dollars to get the thing to work.

Back on topic: From my reading, an Aristo halfcut definitely isn't the easiest way of boosting your N/A. If he considers selling the cut to go down a different path, I'd recommend he look into Na-T kits (Expensive, but end result is already single with lots of potential).
