need help with installation of series 2 tailights

hi guys

im having trouble with the installation of my series 2 lights, i didnt realise, the bulbs are different

so i cant do a straight swap, plus i want to use the new wiring instead of the old,

the old wires are terrible eg spider webs and dirt etc.

the main thing i cant get off is the back trim to the boot, as the aerotop supports are there. :cry:

any suggestions????
