Finally got around to it on saturday, and pulled out the stock air box , to change with a K&N filter ...

( big thanks to George APS for his donation of the filter ) :cheers:

after opening the box, and checking how dirty the filter was - eeeeeeeeeeeek

We then took off stock box - went down to supercheap auto - and motor mate -

and purchased an air box adapter, and a $3 clamp .

came back to mine - with little effort shes all in - the car runs so much smoother and responsive - and sounds alot better too :)

just thought id post - cos a guy came into my shop the other day - and spent $200 bucks plus for the same setup LOL

Until the engine bay fills up with hot air at least... $10 you will be able to feel the power literally being sucked away from it when sitting at the lights. Get it boxed up ASAP.

it made a big difference out on the track - constantly moving - but

what im thinking is that i have a folder - and cutter here -

might make an custom aluminium box with nice rivets down two sides - and then cover the box in

the carbon fibre vinyl i have here :)

wonder if the box i make will fit into a A80 ?
