Hi Guys. :D ...great to hear that you are all seeing Soops around....however, when you put up posts about it please don't include number plates.....if you go into the gallery you will see that we actually take the time to blank out plates before we make the posts... peoples privacy needs to be respected :respect:

Regards
Tricia

Oh, also spotted a bright yellow JZA80 yesterday driving down Prospect Rd.  Stock rims with a massive body kit, and a huge bonnet vent and GT wing.  Cant miss it.

I saw the yellow JZA80 with all the bolt on extras in the city last night.

Yeah, that was me...been taking the scenic route to work the last couple of days, needed a change of scenery. I usually head in all the way up south road but been cruising through town lately. Have actually found that its quicker than my usual drive. But a little more hecktic traffic wise...dont care though i just love to drive.

Thanks for taking care of my anonymity, TEFE :ok: on the ball as always...need to catch up with you soon to talk club business and upcoming events etc. Will be in touch.

Seen a white Supra with a pretty huge kit on it getting around my way - big TRD wing on the back with the center bridge taken out.

Anyone know who it is? Be a cool addition to the SCS display...

Ah so it was someone from here - sorry about the plates exposure thing mate - really didnt think the person would actually be a member......

Car was looking really nice by the way - subtle but nice. :ok:

Supra Polak: How did I know it was a TT? Don't the twin turbos have wider wheels at the rear than the non turbos? Excuse my ignorance, i dont know a lot about the JZA80 world..... ;)

All good mate - thanks for your comments about the car, really appreciate it. Im kinda in the air about the stocky look of it atm. Dont want to rush things but i would love my car looking the way i see it all looking in my head.

Time and money permitting of course. Had my windows tinted yesterday and im getting some clear side markers and clear front indicators OEM. Hopefully they should all be there by next week and ready for SCS.

The tyres ive got on there atm are 225/50/R16 front and 245/50/R16 rear, they look pretty fat from the rear and the smokey black stockies have grown on me but ive got a set of 19" just aching to get slammed on to the car, i cry in my pillow about it every night. And my Big Bro asshat hears my sob story everytime i see him, i even tried to convince him last weekend to buy him self a set of new rims and give me his nicely dished Equips as a hand-me-down (the perks of having 2 supes in the family)...Anyway my 19" are 275/30/R19 rears and 245/35/R19 front NOW thats fatness!!...but as long as the rubber on my stockies is basically brand new im staying with them...for now.... :offtopic: ;)

Kam :ok:

Spiller what were you driving btw? i noticed a couple of imports behind me on my way into work but i dont think any of them where supes.

yeah the stockies are a good temporary measure if you have rims on the way - im a bit of a sucker for the dark wheels on the silver supe look - love it!

I wasnt driving an import yesterday - was in a black Accord Euro, and pulled up directly behind you at the end of Currie St before turning onto West Tce (where i ended up along side you). I wasnt driving, my mum was - as she was taking me to an exam., and parking around there is siht.

However, I have put a deposit down on a Black JZA70 R 5 spd - it is in Adelaide at the moment, but still in customs so I cant get it till mid to late Dec - the wait is KILLING ME

also the rims on an NA and TT are same width at the back i believe, 9.5 inches wide. the fronts are 8 inces wide. they come in 16 inch or 17 inch diameter also, kamikaze you have the 16's right?. in the US the 17 inch wheels come polished and can look nice if the supra is dumped, nice sleeper look!

Its all worth it in the end, i waited 16 weeks for my soop and it drove me nuts. Bought her and paid for her in Feb and picked it up around the begining of June, drove it for a month then went to Europe for a month, came back and now im in about my 5th month of actual ownership and still loving it...Cant wait to see your baby when shes in. I wish you the best of luck mate.

I think it is the Fast n Furious style carbon fibre wing.
I thought I saw a huge front mount so I am guessing TT.
