Hello everyone

I am very proud to announce that with the help of Kat and Pretty Motor Sport , we will be holding a cruise for a cause.

However, this isn’t the typical PMS cruise for a cause where we raise money for breast and ovarian cancer

This time we have decided to raise money for testicular and prostate cancer. We, as part of the drift community care very much about the boys that keep it alive and happening… so much so that we have decided that it is time to do something for them.

Testicular cancer is most common in men aged between 15 to 35 years old, yet this form of cancer is one of the most treatable with a higher survival rate.

As many of you may know Christian suffered from this type of cancer just last year. At 26, I know it was definitely the last thing that he ever thought he would have to deal with.

Through this cruise we hope to educate as many guys as possible that this is the most common cancer in young men and hopefully urge them to not only take care of themselves, but also know there is a support network for men facing this situation.

So what can you do?

Help Pretty Motor Sport raise money and awareness at:

ETSA Park on

8th June 2008

11am for meet and 11:30/12pm leave

We will be having a cruise through the hills followed by a tour of the Birdwood motor museum. The cost, instead of being $9 per person, will be $6.50 per car. That will include the driver and any passengers for just $6.50 and we will also be able to park our cars on the grounds and not in the street.

This is very dear to my heart, as I’m sure most of you all already know. There may be someone you may know that has gone through the same situation.

So please, show your support and come and donate

I look forward to seeing you all there.

:loco:

Not sure if the PMS exec have thought of this already but a great idea I thought of would be to have a testicular cancer inspection station at teh cruise point?

This way you can cruise with confidence!

Just trying to help, if no one looks how will ya know?

Smooth, and oval... smooth, and oval - so my doc tells me.

GEE :bleh:

Hey guys this is for a really good cause and if possible you should support it. My Brother in-law was one of the lucky ones who found it in time so you could say it has effected my family group on a personal basis. Will do my best to attend 1. for the cause. 2. for a cruise. 3. I havnt been through Birdwood for a few years, should be fun checking it out with a bunch of rev heads like myself.

For people that can't attend is there someone we can send a donation to ? Fellas this could happen to any of us OK so make the effort or at least send a donation.

Cheers
Darren

My balls mean everything to me so I'm gonna try and make the event!

So go on, put your money where your scrote is and get down there to support a good cause and
get a free checkup at the same time (might I suggest a fresh set of underpants might be in order too lads).

GEE

if this cruise is still on (i haven't checked NS.com yet) i'd like to turn up to the meet point to say hello and socialise.

however, i will probably turn up in stealth mode (ie bring my Skyline rather than the Supra)

well, i thought a Skyline would blend into the crowd more than a Supra given that it's an NS.com based meet :D

but thank you for the (undeserved) praise of my stock boring four door Skyline

looks like the initial meet point has been changed from ETSA Park to the Ingle Farm shopping centre:

http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=303722

that's opposite to where i intend to be tomorrow morning, so i'll have to give it a miss. hope those who are going from SA Supra have a good cruise anyway.

cheers - K
