Ok, so the head unit that came with my car is quite confusing, and it doesn't have a manual. I've tried googling it but its just coming up with japanese. Is it possible it's only locally delivered in Japan and came with the car to Aus?
I'll get a pic up soon, but I'm just looking for a manual or some how-to's.
Cheers.

you could try finding a similar looking unit from Panasonic's locally delivered range (most likely superseded) which has similar buttons and display, then chase the manual for that model to match up the functions of yours. however, many of the JDM models never make it here so your luck may vary.

I haven't no, Damo. I'll check it out.
I've tried Panasonic's website to look for various models but there's nothing remotely similar. I'll keep trying.

One way to find out whether its a Japanese model is to look at the FM band and see where it starts and where it ends.
Australian band is 88.7-108 MHZ.

Worked it out! Fiddling is the way to go. Figured out how to operate the fade/balance and, as I thought, it was 100% to the rears, so I centered that and now it's mad.
Thanks for the help, anyways.
Oh, btw, it is a Jap delivered one because the FM band doesn't go past 90.0ish. I'll probably pick up a new deck eventually as a result. Although I might be able to get some mad ABC radio and the races though! :bleh:
