The next club dyno day will be held at Morpowa's workshop on Saturday May 10th and will be combined with our annual Sound Off. This will provide the club with its second Dyno Day event for the year and gives our members (and the general public who are interested in Supras) an opportunity to see two different types of kilowatt events with the usual club bbq and drinks available.

You'll have an opportunity to see/hear what audio systems have been installed in member's Supras as well as witnessing what they can do on the Morpowa DynoDynamics dyno. with Andy's and Darren's high flowed twin equipped cars coming on line very soon, i suspect that my dyno record is about to fall... :ph34r:

We hope to see a wide range of forum members (financial and non-financial) at this event. we also hope to see some big horsepower cars on the rollers in the form of Morpowa's 2JZ equipped drift car as well as Reaper's black beast. I should point out that Morpowa's big single F6 Typhoon ran 526.5rwkw at their December 1st comp (Yiros and i were there on that 35+C day). GT Autosound's LS1-TT pulled 415rwkw that day. Can anyone here do better? :aggressive:

If you have a 1J/2J/7M/1G/1UZ/3SGTE/whatever and want to put it on the dyno, please register your interest below. As with all past SA Supra dyno comps, places are limited and we prefer that you secure your spot by paying the full dyno fee before the day.

3. RZ TT 94 - PAID - what's this about a T04Z I've been hearing? is someone gonna come after the G-UNIT?? Bring it sunshine!
4. Supralicious - PAID - unveiling of the newest aquired NA sporting Extractors and Underdrive Pulleys - will Tom take honours in NA class?
5. Reaper - WILL PAY ON DAY (my car is currently getting tranny converted to new spragueless design with other bits = car WILL be showing to crack 400+ no worries, will run race fuel also for top figures)
6. Mercury - Maiden dyno voyage - to infinity and beyond!
7. Darren - tune occurring currently, highly likely this car will show !! Hi Flowed oem twins on stock looking car - 1st to show in SAS = YAY!!
8. Yiros - in some type of car
9. JimmyMkIV - Another virgin to the rollers, this car looks quick for stock(ish)
10 Karma_Cresta - will the GT35R equipped Supra motor be ready in time?? Say it IS so Ry Ry...
11 MA70 Danny
12 wookie - Tuned and equipped with ... "Say hello to my little friend" (No it's not a turbo!)
13 gr33kboi - yet another NA to hit the dyno for the first time, will be very interesting to see how these NAs compare to each other.
14 tuan >>> NA-T single turbo now with 18psi, mid 300's?? WELL DONE MATE - at last someone has done it locally !!
15 StikaSupra = 1G represent vs. Ryan (err... stock vs. GT35R - that sounds fair? at least we'll have a baseline)

20 ultra_supra with different ECU - Kim is exasperated about all these accusations of having a Mines ECU onboard he's gonna swap ECU's to prove everyone wrong about his Champion "factory blueprinted" Supra - yes... this will be very interesting - he has also vowed to drop his pants and walk around the Morpowa workshop if the car's dyno readings aren't within 2% of each other.
21 Morpowa Owner (Simon) - GT35R 2J wedged into Sil-80 drift machine WILL run also.

its not about how much power you have mate, all about coming out and having a good day.

im bringing some deck chairs this year, standing around for hours isn't the best.

Morpowa have a good dyno system though I believe, more spectator friendly.

i think that the Typhoon has a GT42 so that probably contributes something to the 500+rwkw number. i'm hoping that Simon will bring it and the Sil80 with 2JZ big single out to demo.

dunno where Boost Samurai is - what ever happened to that GT42R that he was fitting to his rebuild?

Not sure mate.

Try removing/blocking the vacuum hose to the waste gate so it remains closed. I would be worried that the engine may swallow a compressor wheel and destroy itself…
