I've decided to take a look at what would be required to recover the engine bay wiring looms. I used one of the parking lights? to try out and here is a before and 2 after pictures.

I've covered the loom with an expandable PTFE mesh in black and finished the ends with black heatshrink.

I'm trying to get some idea as to who in SA would be interested in having their wiring looms recovered. I can get the mesh in almost any colour and the heatshrink to match.

For all those people needing plugs replaced then that doesn't represent a problem either as these can be sourced from Toyota.

So if I have enough interest then I would offer the service but not until I have done my own wiring looms...unless of course you're desperate.
