Hello Clubbers,

By now you will all have seen that there is a public rally down at Pt Adelaide on Monday, 10 March 2008 @ 12pm.

Initially I thought I was interstate for a wedding that day but will actually be home by then.
NOW - I desperately want to attend this event to help lend support.

Who wants to come along ???

I reckon we should all roll down there En Force SAS style and at least boost the numbers.
We've all been whinging for years about this, well now is the time to stand and be counted!!!

[There was some suggestion on the link on the national Supra site that it will be defect city. If you are that concerned then bring down your mum's car, or whatever.]

Please reply on this thread the level of interest to attend this rally.

PS- word on the streets is Supra's and in particular JZA80's are fags! Let's prove them wrong by attending this thing to show we are not all about looking damn fine, but we're interested in performance/racing also - let's change that rep shall we?? Stand up and be counted - EVERYONE in SAS is welcome, please show your support. IF no one attends this thing will be dead in the water and the venture capitalists will invest their money elsewhere.

I should think I'll come along too Gee - moreso in support of the people who really want this to go ahead, as drag and drift aren't my cup of tea, but I'd much prefer to see these interests have a true home with a view to keeping the streets safer for all.

I will see if I can get someone to cover my morning as Im working that day. I will certainly be there if possible. Come on guys get behind this or SA will become a true ""BACK-WATER"" for Motorsport and enthusiasts like ourselves. If there is some way of getting the drag racing and drifting off the streets and into a safe environment its good for all of us in the long run.

Son - that is an excellent attitude, I thought that exactly too, would rather everyone is down there on the strip than Anzac Highway (although Anzac has been sold out for a while now anyway).

If there are cheap mid week meets then no one has an excuse to race on the streets anymore which is a good thing, much safer environment for ALL eg. ambulance in attendance etc.
