Hmmm.

69 Pontiac GTO or a Dodge Charger or maybe even the new not Challenger, Ford GT, the new not A/C Cobra.....need I go on.

There is no substitute for cubic inches.

Time to add some detail.

The biggest temptation is to not chase horsepower whoops sorry kws. I may do this should I break the motor at some point. Fingers crossed I don't.

What have I decided on?

1. wheels - 2 x 18 x 8 & 2 x 18 x 9 Speedy Envy Mk 3 in Wet Silver with Chrome lip.
2. use existing tyres - Federal SS595 2 x 235/40ZR18 and 2 x 265/35ZR18
3. suspension - nothing for the moment but probably need to think seriously about replacing the existing set as they have probably been on the car since the factory.
4. brakes - nothing for the moment.
5. Do-Luck front bar, Do-Luck side skirts. undecided about the rear but either Trial rear bar or Do-Luck, TRD Wing, TRD bonnet.
6. Respray.
6. Redo the existing Supra seats , rear seat, doors and carpet. Not liking what I'm seeing in after market seats as they need to be about 1.5 to 2x current width for my wide arse.
7. Fix dash and other interior panels.
8. Get a boot fitted out with a couple of subs, a couple of amps and a removable insert to house the whole lot in.
9. a PWR radiator, fmic and electric fan.
10. a Tuneagent dump and front pipe. Either a Blitz Nur Spec or go down the road to Exhaust Technology
11. Rebuilt twins - steel wheels maybe hi-flowed
12. Install Greddy BCC and SLCC
13. Install Apexi AVC, SAFC and RSM - upper glove box or centre console.
14. Install Boost, engine oil temp, gearbox oil temp & water temp gauges
15. Install TRD speedo.
15. Fix all the other broken bits.
16. Get a lot of polished aluminum/alloy under the bonnet.

Have I missed anything?

Hey Tony, if you are after a boot install, I'm thinking of selling mine. Here's a pic of it. I'll be at the BBQ if you want a closer look then. :) I'll probably want to keep the subs and amps, but everything else can go. And for a very cheap price as well :) Also it's all attatched to one base, so it's easy to remove, just a tad heavy :P

Hi nice ideas for styling. What do you guys reckon the trial rear would look like on a red Supra with the diffuser part painted black?

Sorry to hijack the thread m8!

Very nice indeed! That is pretty much the look I was interested in, chrome/metallic lipped black centered wheels, two tone trial rear, I'm not a big fan of CF hoods though, and IMO the two tone doluck front looks a bit odd. A pair of ridox skirts would match up nice!

On a side note, where are you going to source your kit pieces from? I Rang viva yesterday and they are pretty much entirely out of Supra parts until February or thereabouts.

I'll source through Viva. I'm not in a hurry. I'm expecting to spend a lot of time on fitting. As good as the quality looks I still suspect there'll be mismatches in the fit. I have the materials and know how to work with GRP/FRP so I'm not concerned from this end.
