I have a track day already organised for the 1st of October long weekend with some of Adelaide best exotic cars. I would rather cut laps all day costing me next to nothing then to be told what to do.
Sorry but thats just me.
And here
EAT MY DUST :).
You will notice the complete bush changeover to polyurethane, whiteline 30mm adjustable sway bar, 8 pot front calipers with 330 mm slotted rotors, and BC Gold coilovers with 43 mm inserts.

The rear is getting the whole poly bush treatment, 20mm adjustable sway bar, 6 pot calipers with 330mm slotted rotors, and BC Gold coilovers with 43mm inserts.
If this is not track spec PLEASE PLEASE tell me what is.

Geez! A little bit of overkill! Unless this is becoming purely a track car...
Weren't you looking to sell this car??
What happened to that?

I was never actually serious about selling it.
And NO its not overkill, i got a T88 or T51R turbo kit on the way, and it will be one of the best SHOW/STREET/TRACK car in Australia.
Thank you :).
And you guys should be glad to see someone doing everything to a Supra, not just half assing siht.

it's awesome to see Supras with the iconic Vegas hotels in the background! i've planned for my next trip to the US (Vegas) to coincide with the annual SILV meet (SILV = Supras Invade Las Vegas). also planning to catch up with Dusty at MVP in Texas :D

they are PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS, and could drive your car twice as good as you big boy.
if you dont think they could enhance your driving ability then you are pretty narrow minded man, its a real good day...
but if you are Hamilton/Alonso already.. then I guess there is no point learning any more.
the brakes and bushes and coilies look ACE man, bloody good stuff.
those brakes are definitely overkill unless you are doing marathon races but they definitely look BLING fkn BLING

I simply said i have a track day organised with some of Adelaides best exotic cars, and im talking Lambo's, ferrari's, porsches and a few others.
It is also costing me half the price of the SA Supra one. Price is not an issue but i want to go out there and drive and set up my own car.
I couldnt care less if others can drive better than me, i took the car out to the hills three weeks ago and the car itself told me what needed to be done to it. So now its getting done and thats it.
I am building this car for myself, not for others, and if you dont like what im doing to it then sit on it i mean SERIOUSLY. I will do what i want not what someone tells me.
If you wanna go and learn how to race thats your perrogative. I am not planning on being a race car driver, i drive fine on my own.
Thanks.

i'd love to see what this can do around Mallala (esp with the new suspension and brakes) - you can borrow my timing equipment on the day.

I just didnt see the point of being attacked for no reason though thats all.
Kimbo the 1st will only be a running in day for the car because it is not finished yet. So track times will be slow but will give me a chance to tinker with the adjustments and get it set up properly and then we have another track day in 3 months and go hell for leather then.

Maaate, that shit looks awesome! Wish my car had the brakes package, and the suspenders come to think of it.
Lurveleee..... drool.....
Spoke to George this am, he's well aware of the need to not run really tracky pads on teh street so his brakes will be of benefit on normal roads rather than a hindrance eg. cold bite on track pads issue etc.
The other thing is he's using the Oct 1 date for tune up so will be under the car somewhat ferking around rather than having a fully sorted car like others.
What would be great, however, is if he could shake the car down AND come to the SAS TD later on the 29th JUST simply to race his fellow punk clubbers! but if he has a regular invite with the exotic crew then why bother? I wanna race me mates AND the Lambo's but we cant' always find time to do everything can we?
Anyhoo, love the pics George, looks sex.
GEE
