ok, i finally heard back from Ken (kinwayTRD) this week. he was away for the Tokyo AutoSalon in January (lucky bugger) but has now sent me the PayPal invoice for the V160 oil.

the group buy price is 24L x $50/L = $1200 (12L x $50/L = $600)
to ship 12L of product to us = $600 + $69 shipping = $669
thus for 12L this works out to be $55.75 per litre (w/o PayPal fee of 4% on top)
and this would logically apply to 24L (two boxes of 12L)

AUD$55.75 x 1.04 (PayPal processing fee) = $57.98 per Litre
thus the total order = $57.98 x24L = AUD$1,391.52 (this includes the PayPal fee)

i am paying for the $1,391.52 from my PayPal account (ouch) so if you're on the list above, please PM me ASAP to organise the details.

i now have everyone's money for the group buy and am ready to put thru the PayPal payment to KinwayTRD

However, before i proceed with the payment, I have asked Ken to confirm that he has all 24L of V160 oil in stock and that it is ready to ship to us upon receipt of payment. I have also asked him to provide a timeframe for delivery. i would presume that it would take less than a week to come from Hong Kong.

I am awaiting his reply...

he said that he does have enough in stock and will ship upon receipt of payment. since the money has been drawn from my account, i will be expecting to hear from him soon with the tracking details. i do find it interesting that he didn't specify shipping type when we were first putting this order together...

perhaps everyone who has ordered in this group buy should PM him to ask about the order status?

since all non member post counts have been increased to 100, he will be able to post a reply here himself.
