i know this has been discussed before and i know it'll be discussed again. i also know we all like talking about it. just wanna know if anyone can recommend a particular tire dealer. the tires i'm after are either
1. Bridgestone Potenza S.03 or
2. Kuhmo KU31 (what i have now, very happy with them).
at the end of the day the cheapest of the two will do. any help will be appreciated.

What size tyres do you require? ie. 235/245/255
What size wheels do you have? ie. 16/17/18
I have a guy I get my tyres from at Adelaide Tyrepower in the city.
They dont stock Kuhmo as far as I know, but I can certainly get them to look after you price wise.
I am running some Neuton Nt-500 at the moment, a new korean performance brand into the country.
Excellent performance in the dry, not that great in the wet though, but that may have something to do with me stretching 235's on a 10" wide rim.
Anyway, give Troy a call on 84101312, tell them Matt with the black supra told you to call and they will look after you.
They should hook you up with Neuton's for $160 a corner fitted if you decide to go with them (thats for 235/40/18)... will be cheaper for 17" rims and smaller tyres obviously.
But if you have money to burn go with either S03's, Hancook K107 or some RE55's

If you are considering Potenzas, then not much else compares.
S03 is now obsolete and is replaced by the RE001. That will be my next tyre!
For an NA, K107 will be more than adequate or just stick with what you know.

If my memory is correct he is spinning 19"Rims (which look rather nice I must add, wonder if they do an 18" Rim :hmmm: ) so his range is slightly reduced.
Just me butting in

the RE55S's don't come in 19" and won't last you more than 5000km on the street - i should know :D

for performance, i'd go for Bridgestone. see if you can get a good price on the last stock of S02/S03 in your size (if still available). otherwise, get a quote for the new Bridgestone Adrenaline RE001's as they may actually be cheaper than than the outgoing S03. what about their RE050/A? they're quite a good tire.
Sinergy use the Goodyear on North East Road (after the ABC Building). Some of my mates use North Terrace Tyres. good stores will be able to get you most brands of tire.

Knowing my luck if I didn't get them done before Auto Salon I would get pulled over and defected!

The bang would the sound of the Supra smacking a curb, stobie pole, tree or any other hard immovable object  . Yes they are cheap and might do the job but its not much more expensive to get better rubber if you shop around. Sam has nothing to loose if he wipes out but Shane has a daughter he wouldnt want to hurt. I always think about whats your life worth.
Now I eagerly await Sam's rebuttle. :bleh:

ive taken the supra thru the hills and pushed it very hard around turns and their fine for NA powered car.
i run 245 front and 275 rear so i have a lot of contact patch! and in all honesty their not that noisy really.

Sorry to say Sam but Nankangs are rubbish and the only people who stick up for them are the people who run them.
I tell you what, organise a day off on the 29th of and lets compare lap times at Mallala. If your more modern series 2 supra with fully sik 19 and Nangkangs beat my clapped out series 1, I will pay your $350-$400 for the day.
Take up the challenge you know you want to.
