Nice vid, "mad skillzor" on the vid skillage dude.
Don't know if Marky Mark will be able to hit 1Khp w/o doing the internals frankly, that is ragged edge stuff on uncracked engine. Will he be tuning that hard also? or is GT42 for future proofing?
Who's going to tune this monstrosity?
Let's hear from the man himself!

You simply buy a new ODO from Toyota with 0km for $150 – That is what Mark did. Toyota will then charge you another $150 to reprogram. I did mine for free.
I love seeing low km ODOs illegally being sold on ebay for $300 - $500

Anyway, the ODO thingy, Yiros is absolutely correct. New ODO = $150 from Toyota. Then they want another $150 to wind it up to whatever K's you desire. Nah thanks, 0Ks is fine by me :D BTW, if I ever sold the car the owner would be made aware of the correct K's (old Ks + new Ks = correct Ks)!
1000HP would be nice but not on this block/heads and not on this turbo, not without Nitrous :D
I've gone a bit overboard on the parts, because I could, so that if I do decide to go any further in the future I won't have as much to do. That was my theory anyway.
BTW, in all seriousness, I did this because I wanted to and was sick of simply reading the various mags and seeing other people live their dreams. I have always wanted to "stupid" car and this is it.
Having said that though, I in no way underestimate Gavs beast. His technical knowledge far outweighs my understanding of some of the even simple concepts of this vehicle/build :D Honest!
If all goes well, I'll see you guys out and about soon...
