Actually Supra_star you will find Toyota actually did a very good job with the intake on the JZA80 Supra and quiet a few people who have added Pod filters have actually gone backwards in power as you then have issues with sucking underbonnet hot air. If you are starting to chase bigger numbers i.e. over 380 rwkw you could look into a Pod filter enclosed in a custom airbox. This way you can plumb outside air into the box with ducting but this does involve a bit of cutting and shutting. Until your chasing big numbers use the standard setup with an aftermarket panel filter.

yeah not to keen on a pod just yet, its a lot more sience involved with pods than people want to recognise. K&N filter is going in on thursday, but just thinkin if there was anyway to get more free flowing air in there. if not i suppose i can live, but im still gunna experiment i reckon.
thanks peoples,
Shane.
