Hmmm... Might be my next purchase as I am getting forgetful and I keep forgetting what type of car I drive!

I guess my plates currently remind me of my name so it is a worth while upgrade...

Or maybe I will just wait 50 weeks when those plates expire and pay only $250... Dumb ass!

Yeah, met this dude recently too actually. Trying to convince him to get active on here, he's got one nice mk3. He tells me he bought the plates as much as an investment as anything, spose he's hoping he'll be able to sell them off for more than they costing him. :P

i think that these plates were available earlier this year (after the last eBay guy gave up asking for $5K) so this person must have acquired them sometime in March i think

oh well, he might get sick of paying $270 per year for them and give them up eventually (like the last guy).

i'm just glad that i didn't have to pay $3000 for the badge that i got from the factory that says "Supra" ...

It's a fair comment - heck, if you can get the dough go for it!

Seems lame to many, wearing such plates that is - buuuuuuttttt - if you can
sell the buggers for wadgeons - nice work if you can get it.

Thanks for refraining from the derogatory comments - saves the mods editing them anyway.

Cheers,
GEE

He probably does, Hense the plate.

Also if you seen the colour of his car, You'd probably think hes forgotton what team he bats for.
