hey fellow supra lovers.
i have been having trouble with my car and so i took it to sinergy and they sed that there is something wrong with the computer... when they hook it up to their diagnostics it wont give a read out.

so i am just looking for a new or good condition ecu for a 93 NA auto soop

cheers, rhys

:offtopic: or if someone has another auto NA soop would they meet me at sinergy and then rocco said he can hook each ecu up and compare the diagnostics.

I'd trust the boys from Sinergy for sure, but do you think its worth a second opinion?

Just a suggestion.

Otherwise, good luck with the hunt. I'd try the national site - there is always someone selling something like that...

Cheers

ask ga70tt on these forums. he can get u one from japan second hand at auction for cheap. he would go through rampant imports.

Don't worry - If I did, I would have offered it by now... :)

We kept it in her as we were having idling issues with the new ECU. It might have been taken out now - 93Supra - you should get in contact with Brenton (4's N More) and see if he has fixed the issue yet. If so, he might have a spare ECU laying around...

Hey, not sure if its suitable but I have a spare ECU from a '94 NA 5-spd that I bought from Relaxx...if I can find the damn thing (it'll be a box somewhere) you can have for $80 ..I think thats what I paid for it...was a while back now...

Cheers,

Mirc

Auto and manual ECUs are different. The Auto ECU controls the shift points and also pulls timing at shift points.

Having said that, an Auto ECU will work in a manual car but not the other way round.

I can show you a simple way to pull the error codes off your ECU. Just ask AdelaideProSound as we got his car sorted!

Did it just need a reset? Stock ECU's don't normally fail.
