Hi All,

I received an email from my friend Steve who drives the black GTR (from the dyno day). He is getting ready for the Clipsal 500 rally that starts later this month.

Hi Guys,

There is a secret track day coming up on Friday the 23rd of Feb at Mallala raceway.

It will be run by Mark Poole of V8 Supercar fame (Mark Poole Motor sport).

Entry will be limited to a small group of cars, which means plenty of track time and clear tracks.

CAMS Daily licences can be organised on the day if you are not already licensed.

Already onboard are Porsches and V8's trialling prior to the Clipsal event the following weekend, and a couple of group N type vehicles (GTR, Commodore etc).

The only thing missing is a whole bunch of Supra's.

The more people who come along the lower the cost of the day will become, at this stage it looks like about $100 including the support of the ambo's and fire fighters etc.

Closed cars will only be allowed at this track day (no open wheelers).

More info can be gained next week by contacting Mark Poole on:
Mark Poole's Classic Marques

3 Conmurra Ave Edwardstown SA 5039
ph: (08) 8276 3885

Andrew, Could you please post this on the Supra website/forum.
Kind Regards,

Steve.

Let me know if anyone is keen.

Cheers

Andy

My car will still be in pieces plus I can't get the time off work. Would have been ideal to try the Yoko Advans semi slicks...

its not the timed lap races is it ???????

where you have to nominate a time, then stick with in couple of secounds or you gain points...

the one at the end of the day with least points is a winner?????????

that be a bit average in my opinion if it was....

This would be an absolutely awesome experience, but i don't have my car back yet and i wouldn't be able to get the time off work with so little notice :(

No, that's called Modern Regularity, and imo, is an awesome entry level motorsport event.

That's why they have a Practice session before you have to nominate your time
