Does 407km/hr, has 10 radiators (of diff sorts), can drink it's 100L tank in 12 mins at full tilt,
8L W shaped (ie. 2x V8) quad turbo with 1001 horses at the crank. Cost 5 million pounds to make, they sell for 850,000. Volkswagen did this to prove a technical point not to make money - they HAVE built the worlds best car in many respects and with the lowering amounts of dino oil (read - petrol), this is probably the best fuel car (non-electric) that ever WILL be built.

Just amazing!!!

Previous season of Top Gear had this thing race a light aircraft from Italy back to London. That episode is kicking around somewhere (eg. me gots it).

The light plane race was on Monday's Top Gear on SBS.

If I was allowed to, I'd legally marry that thing and have its children.

i should let you know, that the bugatti had to stick to the speed limit in that cross euro race.

But the Episode that you are talking about is insane, i should tell you that it was captain slow that drove it as well! Go James May!!

The latest episode involves them flying to miami, buying a car each for $1000 (usd) and then driving it to new orleans. They have a few challengs on the way, including some that nearly get them all killed too...

Should watch, quite the laugh.

it does seem so good beating a sessner plane ,

but the top speed in one of those planes is about 260km

plus if there was a head wind..... even slower.....
