I was speaking to some guy at the bar and he said that my model supra was rare. I said' bullcrap its just a MA70 and he said' No its a MA71 there very rare to see these days.
So whats the big deal between MA70 and MA71..........

dunno off the top of my head but wiki check reveals that MA70's were the mk3's canada, europe, japan while MA71's were exclusively in USA. not saying this is the diff ur lookin for or whatever but i spose that would make it rare if its a Us model tho...

AFAIK the MA71 was originally going to be for the turbo 7m's only, for the USA at least.

The only difference ive ever seen is the ront bumper and rear lights are different.

i also have a MA71, has the solid section of plastic in the middle of the grill and the much better looking rear end :)

Thats all i know thats different between the two

Thats the difference between the pre 89 and 89+ models, but the MA71 chassis code was released in 87. I think there was a topic on it on the national forums but the search feature is a bit stuffed atm so I can't find it.
