OK, have canvassed some possible dates with Jason @ MRE. Are people happy that we go with them?
They are central, consistent dyno (albeit less than DD which everyone uses!), cheap (3x runs with laminated photographed readouts + bbq for $45-50 (J just mentioned 45-50 on the phone just then)), good communicators, safe tuners, blah, wank ...

There are a few things in the way for them individually and generally eg.
City Bay fun run, racing events, Grand Final (30/9), Bathhurst (7/10), SA Rotor Dyno Day (21/10).

Sooo.... J is getting back to me but it looks like it could be in either 3 weeks on Sat 9th Sept, OR possibly Sat 14th Oct.

By the sounds of it there may not be too much in the way of flexibility of dates so we may just have to get what we are given IF we want to have this event before early November (ie. 1 week gap for the poor buggers after SA Rotor dyno day).

If we end up with about 20 cars which appears likely this will take about say 6 hours? ie. 3+ per hour.
To suit people I imagine we will draw up TIME SLOTS so we aren't there forever. Well, except for me who is organising. BBQ lunch will probably be a rolling concern then so people can come down and chuck siht on whenever.

I fear for the 14th as they have the SA Rotor dyno day the w/e after.
I'll chat with Jason early next week to see what dates he comes back with.

It could well be that if the 9th does not suit then it will need to be early November then.

Spoke to J again from MRE just then, he is still checking but will get back soon.
One of the complications is that Troy get's flown around the country as crew for racing meets so this will have to fit in with his schedule there also on top of everything else.

Well, i would love to come, but i cant for 2 reasons:

A) I too have blown turbo seal(s)
B) Car will be unregistered and awaiting rebuild

So, in 6 months time, no worries i would be there...but there is no way possible i could do it before hand

OK, just got off the phone with Jason and it turns out Troy (MRE Dyno Tuner) has to go racing on the 14th October as well so that date is out.

The Saturday 9th September is only 2 weeks away and won't suit quite a few people (getting married for example!) so we thought it best to leave that date alone now as well.
