Hey RZ,

That does not surprise me that Graeme Wests was accurate as his dyno is a Mainline DynoLog too.
He was the guy who ran the AutoSalon dynos using his rollers also.

Just for reference my car at MRE on Thursday night ran 291rwkw on their DynoLog, on the Sunday arvo at AutoSalon on Graeme's DynoLog it ran 289rwkw. That's only .7% difference between the 2 dynos. Not bad.

How many power runs did they do for you on the day for your $40 and did they do anything else for ya? eg. barbie, digital photos on a laminated dyno sheet, free race tune and first 50 litres of Martini 110 free?

I've spoken to Graeme's mob back in the day when I was chatting to various tuners about ecu options and I got the impression they were a good bunch myself. Seemed very friendly and helpful from what I recall.

Cheers mate, thanks for the info,
Gav

From what i remember it was 3 power runs, with a printout of your best run + A/F ratios and a boost reading if you wanted it.

for an extra $10 they took a photo of your car on the dyno and gave a laminated printout of the car/dyno.

dont think a bbq was included in the price but i think the club organised their own bbq and got some revenue out of it....

did sasupra want to limit this to sasupra members only? or allow other clubs/cars to participate if they wish to do so?
at an event like this you could easily get 40+ cars there.

I would be very keen.

Provided of course I at least get my baby running both turbo's.
Otherwise I might come along for the booby prize :victory: .... Would make for a great laugh :harhar1:

Again Gav :thanku: for the offer.
(thinking very seriously about it)

Yes, no problem at all, they can log all sorts of siht.

Being terb I generally get power, torque, boost, AFR. We also logged fuel return the other day too.
I don't know if they can log knock but they can certainly listen for it through their knock sensor amp/headphone setup too.

Cheers Dan The Man,
Gav

It will be a Saturday morning in about a months time. Just getting numbers at this stage.
Looks very healthy so this event will be on.

After some enquiries I'll set down a date that suits the majority of people.

So... chuck you on the list I presume?
Also, JZA70R_Wook - is that Wookie?

Ta,
G

Good to see people are signing up - this will be fun no doubt.
As long as we don't go overboard we are apparently allowed to chug brews on the day (assuming we go to MRE), will go well with the barbie. Start trash talking each other now I say - TT vs. TT, NA against NA, single's deathmatch (errr... is that going to far? oh, it's only a 'power-off' isn't it).

Any suggestions other than MRE people want?

Also, I thought it might be nice to hand out some awards on the day eg. highest powered NA, TT, single (we have about 5 that I know of or in the soon pipeline), lowest power boobie prize etc.

Going by the above categories does this means its just for JZA 80 owners?

No. At that time only JZA80 (MKIV :D ) owners had responded. I would love to see a 7M-GTE/1JZ-GTE shootout...

Bring it on...

Yeah come on all you early model Supra drivers pull out your fingers and join the fun.Hell if you blow a motor you get Free exercise pushing your car home

Nah seriously people this is a great oppurtunity to benchmark your cars. Dont use the excuse I want to try it but not until Ive done Exhaust,Cam,injectors,........................etc. The idea of a benchmark is to see if any changes you make afterwards do anything or not.

I know some of you early model Supra guys have got some pretty grunty bits of gear so come show them off and have a laugh and a bullshit session after.

Cheers fellas/ladies and I hope to see you there.

Darren

As soon as I know a date I can ask for it off of work.
However in about a month I'll be interstate.
All depends on the date. If thats good....7M-GTE IN!
