I got my baby back today after her 100k service.
Following was changed:
- Oil
- Oil filter
- Coolant
- Fuel Filter
- Brake Fluid
- Spark Plugs
- Drive Belt
- Manual Trans Oil
- LSD Oil
- Clutch Fluid
Timing belt was on the cards but unfortunately try as they might, the balance bolt would not undo.
They tried hitting a big torque bar with a sledge hammer, 515lb impact gun, bar against the chassis and turn the engine over...to no avail.
In fear that they may strip the head off the bolt if they put her back together and recommended Tilbrook to have a go.
If the bolt does strip...it will need to be drilled out etc.
Has anyone ever encountered this problem when changing their timing belt??????
I'd be very interested to know.
Also, can anyone suggest anywhere else that may be interested to give it a crack??
