Just wanted to ask you, i have a couple of bits and pieces coming my way over the next month or so. Namely parts to do a 4 and 2 pot brake upgrade to me early model 2 and 1 pot supra brakes.
What i have are:
Genuine late model supra -
2 X 4 Pot Front Calipers (Include Shim kit and Fitting kit)
2 X 2 Pot Rear Calipers (Include Shim kit and Fitting kit)
DBA4718 Slotted (handed L&R) front rotors
DBA4719 Slotted (handed L&R) rear rotors
CEB138 front Hawk pads
CEB139 rear Hawk pads
and all im missing are braided lines and some good brake fluid to finish the job
I basically just want to gauge from you what the cost would be to fit everything if i supplied all of the bits and pieces to you. And would it need to be done all at once or can i do the front first and then the rears later? And can you just check for me that the bits i have are compatible.
Any info you can pass on would be great.
Cheers,
kam
ps. i have your supra club shirts. will drop them to you soon.

But from what my big bro tells me the specs on the stock supra 4 and 2 pots are very impressive. And theyre a great alternative esspecially if you dont want to blow thousands on big brakes.
Youre looking at $8K+ for a full brembo upgrade but for stock 4 and 2pots with decent rotors, pads, braided lines and fluids probably around 3K+
Only doing it now as my brakes need a service and i dont want to waste money on "just" a service, id rather get the upgrade and do the lot. Killing many birds with one stone so to speak.

Need to find a Cheap source of Front and rear calipers, but before I do that I need to see if my Front rims will fit on a Supra with big brakes on it. Any body want a visitor one day for a rim swapping session?
Cheers all

And with the braided lines, i wasnt really considering them as being a performance addition or a bling thing. I thought that they would just be a better alternative to the current brake lines in terms of durability and longevity etc.
Hopefully i can get it done over the next couple of months. Will keep you posted.

Howdy Kam,
if you have all the parts available, we would advise you do the whole job at once. We can get ADR approved braided brake hoses (with coloured options available) manufactured to suit, and the job could be done in 1-2 days (depending on wait time for hoses). Labour and brake fluid est $300 - hoses we would need to measure before we quote, but should be in $250 - $400 range - all Street Legal.
Hope this helps,
Catchya Soon...

glad you've finally got all your 'bits' sorted - Brenton will call you Thursday or Friday this week (he's not in 2moro) to arrange a time that suits - we don't have a massive waiting time at the moment, and should be able to accomodate you fairly quickly if needed....maybe catch up on those Tee's too! :D
:offtopic: Chris (TEFE) - Brenton will call you too regarding your PM.
HI to ALL :friends:
Kind regards,
Sonia.
